2026 Past Events
June 12 —- Brand new state-of-the-art neuter scooter from VA Beach SPCA helped us by spaying 16 females and neutering 4 males.
May 26 — May 30 We partnered with Island Kitties Rescue in Chincoteague to bring Mobile Vet Solutions to our area. Almost 200 cats were spayed/neutered in 4 days. What an experience! Lots of long hours and hard work for all of us volunteers. But we made a real “dent” in the unaltered cat population in our area.
May 15 Neuter Scooter of VA Beach SPCA. 15 females and 9 males.
April 17 at Pocomoke Animal Hospital. 3 females spayed and 7 males neutered.
April 10 Neuter Scooter of VA Beach SPCA. 10 females spayed and 15 males neutered.
March 31 Neuter Scooter of VA Beach SPCA. 15 females spayed and 9 males neutered.
March 15 Neuter Scooter of VA Beach SPCA. 15 females spayed and 10 males neutered. In spite of dreadful weather, our cat caregivers managed to trap 25 cats anyway. Our volunteers worked diligently in the cold and rain to intake the cats then transport them to the Neuter Scooter.
Our fundraising Sippin’ and Tippin’ Benefit Concert on 2/28 at the Exmore Moose was a great success. Many people participated in our 50/50 drawings and the silent auction. Thanks to everyone that attended, to the donors of the silent auction items, and to everyone who purchased items. Big shout out to Fil Rhythm & Crowdogs who donated their talent and the Moose who hosted this event. And of course, this couldn’t have been done without our wonderful hard-working volunteers.
February Neuter Scooter of Virginia Beach SPCA. Our caregivers trapped 27 cats; 17 females were spayed and 10 males were neutered. Our volunteers worked with the staff of the Neuter Scooter and the caregivers to make this happen.

2025 Events
Here are a few pictures of our many trapping events in 2025. Our volunteers work very hard to support the caregivers, schedule the surgeries, transport the cats to and from surgery, and keep the cats safe and warm throughout the process.
